Based on Koyoharu Gotoge’s hit manga, Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba follows the story of Tanjiro Kamada who becomes a Demon Slayer in hopes to find a cure for his sister, Nezuko, who has been turned into a demon. In the film, Tanjiro and his fellow Demon Slayers investigate the mysterious disappearance of over 40 people aboard the Mugen Train with one of the strongest members of the Demon Slayer Corps, Flame Hashira Kyojuro Rengoku. The first feature-length film from the anime series was released in the U.S. in April 2020 and became the #1 foreign-language film debut in U.S. box office history.
